Kirigami-inspired solar cells twist to track the sun

In order for a solar panel to receive as much sunlight as possible, it has to pan with the sun as it moves across the sky. Now, scientists have developed a simple method of allowing individual solar cells to do so – and it's based on the Japanese cut-paper art of kirigami.
