Because of Trump's proposed 2018 budget, the agency led by climate denier Scott Pruitt will soon be unable to protect the air, land or human health. The Environmental Protection Agency has long been considered one of the world’s leading environmental and human health research organizations. But it is being financially undermined and having its workforce decimated by the Trump administration as it changes the priorities and role science plays.
